Here’s a cost saving money saving tip for y’all. Year after year, we see gas prices go real low or real high. There is never a in between when it comes to gas prices. Although gas prices are rising, it doesn’t have to cost you as much. There are many ways to stretch that dollar a little more such as join a rewards program at the local gas station or even just to carpool with that talkative neighbor.
Many people underestimate the power of preventative car care. We, at Lighthouse Express Car Wash suggest that you be aware and perform simple task of car maintenance to improve fuel efficiency.
Tire pressure: Always be aware of your tire pressure and to keep that inflated to the proper psi (pressure)
Oil & Air Filter: Be sure to constantly change your motor oil when it is time and to keep your air filter clean of debris.
Your foot: Do NOT hold/slam on your gas pedal at all times; for instance no running yellow lights or speeding
Spark plugs: Spark plugs should be changed every 30-50,000 miles to keep the best efficiency possible.
Roof rack: If you are not using the roof rack then why don’t you take it off, less wind resistance = less gas wasted.
We could go on and on about ways to save gas but all in all, just modify your driving habits and take care of your car.
